CONTENT RULES

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These rules protect people and define what TCM may refuse, restrict or remove. THIS COST ME is one product: every paid message has private-link delivery; free-text never goes to the public WALL; only exact server-approved canonical messages may be added anonymously to the WALL.

1. Core rule

Say what matters. Do not use TCM to harm, threaten, expose, impersonate or unlawfully exploit another person.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not submit or use TCM for:

  1. illegal content or facilitation of unlawful acts;
  2. credible threats, extortion, blackmail or encouragement of violence;
  3. stalking, targeted harassment or repeated unwanted intimidation;
  4. hateful or dehumanising attacks against protected groups;
  5. doxxing or publishing private addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, financial identifiers, precise live locations or comparable private information without lawful justification;
  6. impersonation, identity fraud, deceptive affiliation or scams;
  7. non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual content shared without the depicted person's consent;
  8. any sexual content involving minors, grooming or child sexual exploitation material;
  9. content encouraging suicide/self-harm or giving targeted instructions to cause serious harm;
  10. illegal drugs/goods/weapons transactions or instructions materially facilitating serious wrongdoing;
  11. malware, phishing, credential theft, spam or automated commercial abuse;
  12. copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights infringement;
  13. unlawful defamatory statements or fabricated accusations presented as fact;
  14. unnecessary sensitive personal data about another person, including health, sexuality, religion or other special-category data;
  15. content identifying or sexualising a minor on public surfaces; sexualised minor content is always prohibited;
  16. evasion of prior enforcement or repeated abusive submissions.

3. Consent and privacy

A sender's desire to say something does not create a right to publish someone else's private information. The WALL publishes no sender or recipient names, usernames, handles, email addresses, phone numbers, links, locations, personal captions, notes or free-text.

Do not upload a person's photograph, voice or intimate/private information unless you have a lawful basis/right to do so. TCM may require proof of permission for higher-risk content.

4. Private-link delivery is not a harassment loophole

Link-restricted delivery does not legalise threats, stalking, intimate-image abuse or unlawful content. TCM may revoke a private recipient link in serious cases.

5. Canonical WALL publication

For new records, canonical message + explicit WALL opt-in + confirmed payment + valid Locked Provenance publishes automatically. There is no routine pre-publication review. The server derives the exact canonical words from the approved message ID; free-text and identity fields are technically ineligible for the WALL.

REPORT, takedown, hold, revoke, refund, dispute and administrative-removal controls remain available after publication. A $5 and $5,000 message receives the same placement logic: recency, never amount ranking.

6. Actions TCM may take

Depending on severity and law, TCM may: block creation; hold, remove or revoke a WALL publication; disable a private link; restrict payment/service; preserve evidence; refund where the Refund Policy requires; notify authorities where legally required; or suspend repeat abusers. Legacy free-text SPOTLIGHT records may continue through their historical moderation workflow but are not eligible for the current WALL.

Where DSA Article 17 applies, affected recipients will receive a clear and specific statement of reasons for covered restrictions. [S7]

7. Appeals / review

Even where TCM benefits from a micro/small-enterprise exemption from certain DSA online-platform obligations, TCM should offer a simple manual review channel as a product fairness measure: /legal/report/?category=appeal. This voluntary review does not reduce any statutory redress right.

8. U.S. intimate-image rule

If image/video UGC is enabled for U.S. users, the TAKE IT DOWN procedure applies in addition to these rules. Valid covered requests require removal within the statutory timeframe. [S17]
