PRIVACY IF SOMEONE WROTE ABOUT YOU
Someone can create a TCM that refers to you even if you did not create an account or give TCM your information directly.
What may be held about you
Usually this should be limited to a first name/nickname, the message text and contextual information chosen by the sender. A PRIVATE message is link-restricted. An approved SPOTLIGHT is public.
What TCM does not verify
A name in a TCM does not prove identity, relationship or truth. A payment-verification badge verifies only the payment/TCM record shown on the verification page.
Your options
If you believe a TCM contains your personal data and you want information, correction, erasure/restriction or object to processing where applicable, contact /legal/privacy-about-you/#request and provide the TCM ID/URL. If it is illegal, threatening, harassing, doxxing, intimate or otherwise harmful, also use /legal/report/.
We may ask for proportionate information to distinguish you from another person with the same name and to protect PRIVATE content. We will not ask for full identity documents unless genuinely necessary.
For public SPOTLIGHT, removal from TCM cannot erase screenshots or copies independently controlled by third parties.
This notice supports the GDPR Article 14 transparency architecture for data received from senders; the exact Article 14 timing/exceptions must be finalised with counsel. [S6]
